So the children are well and truly back to school and your mind can turn from days out and children’s entertainment to thinking about getting your house back to normal.
But child safety should never be far from your mind – it’s always a top priority here at Morley Glass & Glazing. In fact we are the only UK glass manufacturing company accredited to the British Blind and Shutter Association (BBSA) and we’ve been a member since 2011.
The BBSA is the only national trade association for companies that manufacture, supply and install interior and exterior blinds, awnings, security grilles and shutters and associated motor and control systems.
We support the BBSA’s Make it Safe campaign, which aims to ensure effective development of standards for internal window blinds and provides appropriate safety advice to homeowners and those responsible for public and commercial buildings.
All our Uni-Blinds® integral blind systems meet the requirements of child safety standards including our newest system, the SL20SV cordless sliding system. Mounted on the internal face of the glass unit, a cleverly designed magnetic slider allows total control and ease of use. With no cord, there is no danger of young children getting caught up in the mechanism.
Like all Uni-Blinds®, the SL20SV sliding system provides a low maintenance and contemporary feature for any double glazed window or door – and is available in 10 days in a choice of 10 different colours, including the exclusive anthracite grey (S159).
The integral blinds are assembled and permanently sealed within the double glazing cavity which comes with a warm edge spacer bar as standard to offer optimum thermal insulation. Once sealed in this totally dust-free environment, the blinds require no cleaning, always appear new and are protected from damage.
