Product Description

RegaLead Natural, Platinum, Antique and Brass are high performance self adhesive lead strips manufactured under procedures and specifications laid down in ISO 9002 by RegaLead. The products are designed for permanent application to decorative interior or exterior glass surfaces in both single and double glazed unit applications.

The decorative finish of RegaLead Platinum, Antique and Brass is produced by a polymer coating which is pigmented. The coating has excellent adhesion to the lead surface and applications on external surfaces exposed to direct UV light and weathering are stable.

After product application and glazed installation care should be taken to prevent damage to the surface of the lead strip. The use of abrasive cleaners and aggressive solvents should always be avoided.

The products conform to the UV test requirements of BS5713 part A.2.4 for double glazed units.

99.5% pure lead strip which will gain a natural grey patina with time to create a traditional leaded window look. Joints can be soldered to give an even more traditional effect.
Lead coated with a satin weatherproof polymer coating to avoid problems sometimes associated with the ageing process of lead. The protective coating should not be abraded and thus soldered joints are not possible.
Lead coated with a dark grey weatherproof polymer coating to give a dark antique 'ready aged' lead effect. The protective coating should not be abraded and thus soldered joints are not possible.
Lead coated with a high gloss polymer to give a brass effect. This product is paticularly attractive when combined with RegaBevels. The protective coating should not be abraded and thus soldered joints are not possible.

Fanlight and Window Borders
A range of eight traditional fanlight borders which can be applied with or without colour to enhance any bevel design. A selection of colours available for use with these borders can be found in the RegaLead Films Section.
