Unlike rooflight blinds mounted onto the frame of flat glass roof windows, the Uni-Blinds® integral blind system maintains clean sightlines and strong visual appeal. The blind’s operating mechanism and the fabric of the blind itself are completely encapsulated within the IGU so they can never attract dust or dirt. And useability is also 100% simple, with the system’s brushless motor powering the opening and closing using wall mounted controls or a remote control.

The Uni-Blinds® pleated blackout integral blind for flat roof windows is as sleek as every other option in our market-leading range. It is fully encapsulated within a double glazed unit and suitable for horizontal, fixed roof windows sized from a minimum of 300mm x 300mm up to a maximum of 1000mm x 1500mm. The system can be fitted instead of standard glass units in rooflight systems from all the leading manufacturers and the blind units are easy to fit.

The blind’s high quality fabric eliminates external light very effectively, even from the strongest sunlight, to offer blackout performance whilst coordinating perfectly with all interior décor schemes. The fabric is available in eight internal face colours with the exterior colour white.

A final dimension to the Uni-Blinds rooflight blind’s outstanding performance is its ability to significantly reduce solar gain. When specified with the recommended COOL-LITE SKN 176 solar control glass, the rooflight integral blind unit features another built-in mechanism to further manage the risk of excessive solar gain, even when the blind is open, without impacting noticeably on the level of daylight entering the room.
