Integral blinds
For bi folding doors, windows and conservatories
Morley Glass the UK’s No1 manufacturer of Screenline blinds the only viable option for light control in bi-folding and sliding doors.
Integral blinds in glass are a neat and stylish alternative to curtains, external blinds and other window dressings for your home or business. Choose from Venetian or pleated blinds which fit perfectly inside the double-glazed unit, and means they won’t get damaged and will never need cleaning.
Morley Glass & Glazing is a specialist manufacturer of sealed units with integral blinds inside, supplying other sealed unit manufacturers, fabricators and installers with our high-quality Uni-Blinds® in an industry-leading 10-12 days from 10am on a Thursday, backed by a 5-year guarantee.
All our sealed units are Argon filled and feature a double seal which helps guarantee the quality and energy performance of your windows and doors, long term. Two seals mean extra protection – giving you peace of mind that you won’t have problems in the future. The secondary seal also gives the insulated glass unit (IGU or sealed unit) its structural strength, ensuring there is no chance of movement once installed. This is especially important in larger sealed units used in patio and bi-fold doors.
Integral blinds can be fitted inside any window or door in sizes from 300mm to 2600mm wide and in any frame – timber, aluminium or uPVC – and can even be retrofitted into existing doors and windows. They are easy to install – the same way as any other sealed unit.
They are also the only practical solution for sliding patio doors, French doors and bifold doors, as they don’t interfere with the opening mechanism and sit neatly inside the panes of glass.
Adding a stylish finishing touch to your room, integral blinds in glass are perfect for controlling room temperature, maintaining privacy and protecting your furniture from fading. They give you the ultimate in protection from the heat and glare of the sun whilst remaining dust and dirt-free – forever. They are also available in triple glazed sealed units.
In addition to residential uses, Morley Glass offers a range of high quality integral blind solutions that enable architects and designers to take a different approach to shading and privacy in public and commercial environments too. Our range includes integral blinds for the healthcare sector, which perfectly balance a long, low maintenance service life, with hygiene and simplicity in switching between the need for patient monitoring and providing a private space.

Benefits of integral blinds
Energy efficiency built-in
All Uni-Blinds® feature a warm edge spacer bar to ensure the thermal insulation and energy efficiency of the sealed unit is maximised. The stainless-steel spacer bar is co-extruded with polypropylene to enhance the benefits of all ScreenLine® integral blind systems and energy saving qualities – all within the perfect hermetic seal.
Slimline blinds
We have also introduced a slimline integral blind, the SL16 System, the first integrated blind system designed to accommodate a 16mm cavity thanks to its exclusive 10mm slats. It’s the perfect solution for composite doors and vertical sliding windows.
Warm edge spacer bar
Our warm edge spacer bars are fitted in black as standard or light grey on request.
Integral blinds for commercial buildings
We also produce a range of integral blinds for the commercial market. Commercial blinds are ideal for offices, schools, hospitals and other commercial premises. We offer two commercial blind systems.
The B System, which is particularly suitable for window cill applications such as structural facades, hospital wards and schools, as the manual control device is located at the bottom of the blinds for easy access from a low level or seated position.
The P System comprises a Venetian blind incorporating a 12.5mm slat designed to be integrated in a double-glazed unit with a 20mm capacity. The system can be used in almost all types of existing window frames, whilst the special design of the manual operating system allows the aesthetic quality to be maintained in whatever environment it is installed. The P System is ideal for public buildings such as hospitals and government offices, where a variety of people need to operate this simple but highly protected system.
Both our integral blind systems for commercial buildings are available for delivery in four weeks.
