History of Pellini SpA
Pellini SpA was founded in 1974. Employing craftsmen, this family-owned company produced venetian blinds, folding doors, mosquito nets and awnings. In 1984, Pellini started to co-operate with a leading multinational company manufacturing venetian blinds for interiors; this allowed Pellini to move away from a local market and to emerge in the national scene.
In 1990, the company set up a project for integrating a blind within insulating glass, achieving the raising and lowering of a blind encapsulated within a double glazing unit whilst maintaining the latter’s integrity.
All their efforts were rewarded in 1992, with the introduction of the first system in the ScreenLine® range – a system based on rotational transmission of motion obtained by the coupling of internal and external magnets. In 1994, the historical production lines for awnings and mosquito nets were decommissioned in order to maximise capacity for the engineering and manufacture of new, increasingly more advanced ScreenLine® systems and high performing technical blinds for interiors. Today, the company preserves its commitment to craftsmanship in its “made-to-measure” ethos, yet operates on a worldwide scale and is an acknowledged leader in the field of sun shading systems.
Just a quick note to say that your technician did a great job today, changing the sealed unit with integral blinds. In fact, all the Morley after service techs we have met have been knowledgeable, efficient, polite and obliging and importantly respectful of our house. The Morley Glass Technician came over and fixed our windows, I say windows as the day before he arrived the middle window decided to also stop working as well.
The Morely Glass Technician fixed the issue in about 10 minutes and also explained why it happened. Very nice gentlemen he was.
He also checked the argon gas status of the window and replaced the longer cords we had with shorter ones due to Health and Safety concerns.

In October I requested a brochure from yourselves, it was despatched promptly! I contacted my local dealer at Britannic Frames who came and measured my door for integrated blind glass. I found they were using another supplier who had a 6 wk lead-in! I suggested they order my glass from you, which they did. You lead in time was as you promised. Finally, they are fitted. We have had Morley blinds in our folding doors for about 8 years. We are very pleased with them and would recommend them. The follow-up service from Morley blinds has been excellent. When we have had any issue with the blinds, Gavin, their engineer, has been out and has fixed the problem quickly.

We have in the past purchased integral blinds in cassette format from leading I G Component suppliers; however, we have found this to be a costly and time-consuming option. Purchasing integral blinds this way has meant that we have had no guidance on manufacture or installation and that subsequent problems have left us with no back-up from the supplier.
Because of this, we decided to purchase our integral blinds as a complete encapsulated unit and after looking at available products on the market we decided to purchase from Morley Glass & Glazing Ltd. This has meant that we have totally eradicated any manufacturing issues and we have the peace of mind of knowing that their UniBlind product is fully guaranteed for five years. The products arrived exactly as you said – within 24 hours and they are perfect.
